	Nerja Situated in a unique and incomparably beautiful setting , Nerja welcomes its visitors with the crystal clear water of its beaches and the beautiful mountains of the Sierra de Almijara at only 55 Km of Malaga, capital of La Costa del Sol. In the town centre, built from 1487, you Hill find the famous "Balcony of Europe", a mirador over the sea built from the ruins of an old mediaeval castle. 	FRIGILIANA Situated next to Nerja, this small interior town framed by huge mountains and made up of beautiful narrow streets in the purest Andalusian style is famous for its sweet wine and its olive oil. It was a Moorish redoubt after the conquest of Granada in 1492. Artistic glazed tiles at the street corners take us back to the troubled and exciting history of this singular town which is well worth a visit.
	Sierra Nevada Nowadays we can state that Sierra Nevada is one of the best ski resorts in Spain thanks to the investments made in infrastructures for the World Championships of Ski in 1996. . What is most attractive in Sierra Nevada is, no doubt, its great weather. Over 70% of the days in the skiing season are sunny, which allows you to ski in unsurpassable conditions. Its altitude (2.100m to 300m over sea level) practically guarantees snow in winter. The season usually is one of the longest in Europe ( from the end of November to mid- May) and it is not rare to be able to enjoy skiing in spring at temperatures which let you wear your swimming costume
	“LA CALETA” MARINA The only marina in the Eastern Costa del Sol, it is situated near Torre del Mar, a very lively town during the summer and very closet o Nerja. Public investment has developed notable facilities such as the captaincy and it is very safe. Prices are inexpensive.
	SIERRA DE ALMIJARA The Tejeda and Almijara mountains are and impressive chains of mountains which constitute the geographical barrier between the provinces of Malaga and Granada. The former constitutes the spine of the area known as the “Axarquia” ( the “eastern” for the Arabs), redoubt of the Moorish culture. The latter is the background of the fertile land of Alhama at the east of Granada with its fertile fields of cereal and olive trees.
